A commission work I did for a roleplayer, showing his character Alrik, to the left, and his friend's character Ovidia. They both have their issues with society, Ovidia suffering rom dwarfism and Alrk being from a tribe that's infamous for its ruthlessness... Ovidia is a black mage, Alrik a warrior. I'm told they both are frightening on their own, but that the other players are a lot more afraid when the two appear together ;)
For those who don't know The Dark Eye, there's a mage's ritual that allows to transform the staff into a torch. It's not on fire.

It was great fun experimenting with this loose painting style, and I like the outcome a lot. Especially the lighting situation worked out almost exactly as I wanted to. I hope the brightness is okay on other people's monitors because mine is so bright.

Mit dieser Zeichnung würde ich auch sagen: Ich möchte den beiden Charakteren auch nicht begegnen. oder anders ausgedrückt: Wirklich tolle Zeichnung! :)

I love this picture in so many ways
Really enjoy the textures of the picture. The shine is realistic and not to bright (like I did T.T), and the fabric flows beautifully. Also love all the background details like the sky, the buildings and the wall.
Beautiful work

really lovely work  I love your use of "glowing effects" or what I should call it, on th moon and on that fire ^^ Stunning work on the shadings and lightenings too, and the anatomy looks nice ^^

Thank you very much. Much to my surprise a small light source like the staff here proved to be easier than, say, warm sunlight.
