The "Buttertree" journal-skin was done for my own use, but since it looks pleasing - at least to me (despite being my first journal-CSS), I'd like to share. So, here is "Buttertree".

Notes for usage:

[div class="sidebar"] for sidebar
- within -
[div class="head"] for sidebar-headline
[a href="http://url" class="link"] for side menu link

[div class="content"] for the whole text
- within -
[span] for headline
[div class="line"] for special underline

[] means <>


Attention!

The "skin created by" interferes with the layout (sorry, first skin). Add the following to the CSS to place the "skin created by" more nicely:

.skin_attribution{
position:absolute;
top:2px;
right:2px;
font-size:10px;
}

This is a really pretty journal design. I love the wonderful autumn feel that the skin has and the way the leaves are floating away from the tree. :)

Very beautiful. I've used it, and it's very nice, but the leaf pile on the lower right is covering up my Mood:, Eating:, Drinking:, part. (I tend to write those long^^;)

As I have no knowledge of CSS, do you have any ideas?

That is one hell of a compliment - thank your very much!

It is my first skin, and there were some unexpected difficulties when I submitted it... maybe the problem you experience is one of them. :blush:

Possible solution:
- make sure you write <div class="content"> before and </div> after the entire text.
- If you wish the sidebar to have content (icons are nice), write <div class="sidebar"> ... </div> before the <div class="content"> from the text.
At the "..." you can place icons or thumbs or links.

I hope that helps with your problem. If not or you want more tips, I can send you a note - just say so.
