The alleys of St. Forsinanby *Ranarh

I wanted to paint a classical roleplaying scene. The city and the castle in the background, the rich couple on the way home, choosing the shortcut through the back alleys, and the thieves in the shadows, getting ready to pounce. Jesper Ejsing said in a workshop that he thinks in cool and warm colours, so I planned my painting like that and I think it worked fine.

Very nice work with the lighting and attention to detail. Not to mention the color scheme is wonderful, and are those initials I see written down on that piece of the wall under the lantern to the right?
