I wonder what those two hope to find in the temple. Or is it a palace, and if so, who resides there?

Almost unbelievable that I painted something that's not for my world Genius Loci, but here you are. Maybe it has something to do with the Thomas Kinkade puzzles I've been doing. Inspired by the "temperate forest" assignment by Weekly-Environment.
