Tiny tips: It's in the air by Ranarh Tiny tips: It's in the air by Ranarh
Atmospheric perspective is something we all heard about, here are some reminders. Don't forgt it's about the sky's colour and the atmposhere's colour. Should you be so unlucky and have to paint a red sky with a purple atmosphere, the far regions will be pale reddish purple (our sky is blue, so faraway things are blue too).

My tenth tiny tip! Look at that. Thanks for the support!

You'll find the whole Tiny Tips Collection, plus some full-grown walkthroughs in my tutorial section. Check out my blog and website for exclusive tutorials, walkthroughs, and tips.

I have no idea why I felt totally mind blown after reading this, I know I've read it elsewhere, but you really put it into perspective :3 I don't know if it was the pictures or what.

Thanks for making <33

This is a nice comment! :D

I think it may be teh notion that atmosphere is gases and vapours, because realizing that made painting it very easy for me.

You write really AWESOME tutorials for reminders about things! Thanks a lot--this was another really helpful thing to read. I've been struggling with getting the right amount of detail into a background on some of my recent drafts of things, and this just solved a problem I've had for days! Aaaawesome!

Is it strange that I've never really understood that phenomenon until I read this tutorial? I saw grayish mountains in the distance and then wondered why my landscapes looked flat. Today I have learned something very useful. Thank you!
