This was one of the rare occasions when everything fell into place. I did a lot with papers in Painter and textures in Photoshop, and had some paintings by Jaime Jones and Robh Ruppel open on the side - I admire the confidence with which they place their strokes. I think this conceptual painting was a step in that direction, and I'm very happy with it. It's also a concept for my world Genius Loci - find out more about it in my blog or my website.
Overall impressive, like the textures used in the painting. But perhaps the middle mountain is too dark and furthest mountains and clouds should be blurred more and use lighter color because now it kinda hard to make our eyes focus on what one thing (lose the point of interest).
